The Space Movement Project (TSMP) is a Chicago-based dance company dedicated to nurturing the collective female lens in contemporary dance movement. TSMP has
performed work across North Carolina, Illinois, Wisconsin, Michigan, Ohio and New York. The company made its international touring debut in Puebla, Mexico in March 2013. As active members of the local dance community TSMP has made appearances at Jay Pritzker Pavilion Stage and Millennium Park, The Dance Center of Columbia College, Hamlin Park Fieldhouse, Links Hall, Roosevelt University, the Ruth Page Center for the Arts and the Chicago Cultural Center. The organization began managing OuterSpace Studios in 2010 offering subsidized space rental, regular performance and discussion activities and visiting artist residencies to over 100 dance, theater and visual artists annually.
